Tidswell trio in tenth win takes Town top

A hat-trick from Harry Tidswell saw Crowland Town hit the top of the GCE Peterborough and District League Premier Division.

Tidswell’s 24-minute trio in the second half helped the side win 4-0 at Ramsey Town to reach the summit.
Archie Rickards sealed Crowland’s tenth win in a row in all competitions in the 80th minute.
Moulton Harrox too had a big 5-0 win at second placed FC Peterborough Reserves.
Joe Townsend opened the scoring in the 16th minutes before Louis Steadman doubled the advantage after 34 minutes.
Sub Liam Ivernee made it 3-0 just after the break before Nathan Smith and Gary Chappell made up the five late on.
Holbeach United Reserves lost 2-1 at home to Deeping United.
Whaplode Drove Rovers are second in Division One after beating Whittlesey Athletic 2-1.
Goals from Kane Gilbert and Harrison Pearce sealed the away win.
Long Sutton Athletic were thrashed 9-1 by Stamford Belvedere.
In Division Two, Crowland Town Reserves came from 2-0 down at home to Tydd Reserves to draw 2-2.
A Marley Hamilton brace had put Tydd in front before Nathan Woodward made it 2-1 just before the break.
Xennon Paul’s goal halfway through the second half earned Crowland a point.
