Knights awards

Pinchbeck United presented their end-of-season awards, with top honours going to a pair of club stalwarts.

Team manager Lewis Thorogood and his assistant Mark Melson recognised the efforts of match day helpers Jonny Allen and Colin Knight this season and a club spokesman said: “Behind every great game are the quiet heroes who make it all possible.

“Thank you for being the heart behind the Knights.”

Player award winners were – Manager’s Player: Joe Melson; Players’ Player: Harry Cranfield; Supporters’ Player and Chairman’s Player: Ben Martin; Special Recognition Award: Nathan Stevens; 100-plus appearance award: Joe Melson.
