Kids roll up at fair thanks to Lions

There was a day to remember for a host of young people last week as they were treated to a special afternoon at Tuby’s Fun Fair.

The fair returned last week and an annual tradition is for it to open with the Spalding Lions arranging for pupils with special educational needs to have first go on the rides.
Pupils from Gosberton House Academy and the Spalding Chappell Centre popped along for a couple of hours of fun.
A spokesman for Spalding Lions, said: “Thanks to the generosity of Roger and Sophie Tuby and their team, those attending enjoyed free rides and candy floss.
“We even managed to get some of our Lions on the rides!
“It was fantastic to see everyone having such a good time, to see smiling faces and hear screams of delight.”
