One of musical theatre’s top performers is coming to South Holland and she’ll be joined by a number of young singers.
Kerry Ellis is bringing her show Rock Anthems to the South Holland Centre on Friday, October 16.
And she’ll be joined by the likes of 14-year-old Seren James who has won the Search For A Star competition to perform alongside her in Spalding.
Seren’s mum Zoe says her daughter sang I Say No from Heathers The Musical to earn the chance to sing with Kerry.
“She can’t wait to take to the stage in Spalding,” said Zoe.
Kerry has been a star on the West End for decades but particularly came to prominence when Queen guitarist Sir Brian May described her as ‘the most beautiful voice in Britain’ as she starred in We Will Rock You.
A spokesman for the South Holland Centre said: “Rock anthems were the inspiration for award-winning singer Kerry Ellis, who is one of the greatest stars of musical theatre.
“In this new show, she will explore her love of Rock Anthems as she pays homage to Queen, Meatloaf, Bonnie Tyler and the other rock legends who inspired her.”
Tickets start at £30 with VIP and Meet and Greet options available and they can be purchased from www.southhollandcentre.co.uk
