Injury-time Sleaford double denies ten-man Holbeach United

Sleaford Town struck twice in stoppage time to peg Holbeach United back to 2-2 in the ChromaSport UCL Premier Division on Wednesday night.

A stunning 30-yard free kick from Andrew Tidswell gave the title-chasing Tigers a 1-0 half-time lead at Eslaforde Park.

Although Holbeach had Josh Ford sent off midway through the second period, Jake Clitheroe’s strike ten minutes from time looked to have sealed the points for Darren Jarvis’ side at 2-0.

However, strikers Luke Hollingworth and Ryan Oliver both bagged after 90 minutes had passed to earn Sleaford an unlikely draw.

There was also bad news for the Tiges before kick-off, with Tommy Treacher injuring himself in the warm-up.

More to follow.
