Indoor bowls round-up: It’s derby delight for Spalding over-60s

Spalding Indoor Bowls Club’s over-60s roared to a 132-79 victory over Boston B in their latest county league fixture.

Spalding started strongly and were winning well on three rinks, but the remaining two rinks were close.

Spalding were always going to win the aggregate score, but Boston fought back strongly on three rinks.

Captains for the day were David Lunn and Graham Hicks.

  • Spalding IBC’s mixed team lost their latest county league fixture 15-3 against rivals Louth A.
