Polo Past-its lose tight tussle with Incredibowls in Indoor Bowls friendly clash

Members of Spalding Water Polo tried their hand at indoor bowls as they took part in a light-hearted friendly clash.

Billing themselves as the new kids on the block in Spalding’s indoor bowling scene, the “Polo Past-its” had their work cut out against the “Incredibowls” last Thursday.

Team skipper John Teesdale motivated and coached his team throughout the intense match but, despite his best efforts, they failed to strike when necessary and came a close second in what was an enjoyable contest.

Team member Steve Rogers agreed the “awesome foursome” could do with a little more practice and some finer points would be discussed at the team’s base, The Moorings.

The water polo lads would like to thank Steve and Gill for their support and post training sustenance.
