In-form Tigers eye another home win

After a rare free weekend, Holbeach United return to Thurlow Nunn League First Division North action on Saturday as they bid to make it three games unbeaten.
The Tigers, who sit ninth in the 19-team step six division after 16 games, will be hot favourites to beat Great Yarmouth Town at Carter’s Park on Saturday (3pm).
The visitors, who are down in 13th place, face a lengthy round-trip to South Holland for the weekend clash but have been better on the road this season with three wins and a draw from eight games on the road.
However, Holbeach co-bosses Danny Clifton and Simon Roberts will be hungry to make it back-to-back victories after seeing off Holland 3-1 last time out thanks to goals from Kyle Compton, Callum Davies and John Yambasu.
Indeed, four of Holbeach’s six successes have come at Carter’s Park – and another success could see them climb up the table.
