Hughes’ show of support

A Spalding charity that puts sessions on for the elderly to help bring them together has been given a boost by a local business.

Hughes Electricals have donated a new fridge and microwave to The Meadows.

As part of their thank you, staff at The Meadows also baked a cake for the staff at Hughes.

Maisie Wenham, one of the managers at The Meadows, said: “We are all so grateful for their consideration and willingness. Supporting local charities like us makes so much difference, especially with the rising costs of absolutely everything at the moment.”
