The annual St Nicholas Fair in Holbeach had an amazing light show this year for the first time.
A variety of local businesses took part in the event which saw crowds of visitors on Friday and Saturday around the church of All Saints’.
The traditional fayre was first started in 2014 by the Holbeach Regeneration organisation.
This year the children of the town created designs to be projected onto the church when darkness fell on both days.
Entertainment including the Ukulele Orchestra of Spalding and a range of singers added the Christmas feeling to the event.
“It was a lovely event and a lot of people came out to see the children’s art projection,” said town and district council member Tracey Carter.
“There was a great atmosphere around the town and a lot of the shops stayed open as well, which added to the event,” she said.
The artwork projection was carried out by Popcorn Media and funded from the community budget of district councillors representing the town.
The artistic pupils who took part in designing Christmas cards for the show were from the town’s William Stukeley, Holbeach Academy Primary and Holbeach Bank schools.
