Holbeach charity shop’s £3,000 for Sophie’s wheelchair

An eight-year-old girl with cerebral palsy is £3,000 closer to getting a powered wheelchair thanks to Holbeach charity shop Chosen.

Sophie Clarke and twin brother Lewis both suffer from the condition. But while Lewis is able to walk unaided, Sophie needs a frame.
A fundraising campaign for a £10,000 powered wheelchair is close to complete.

Chosen joint manager and treasurer Iris Boland said: “Sophie cannot move without her frame, and was getting very frustrated because she could not keep up with her friends at St Peter’s School in Wisbech.
“The school have already raised £500 towards the total.”

East Elloe Lions has also contributed £200.
