Hockey players promote mental health awareness

Spalding Hockey Club members got together to promote Mental Health Awareness Week.

The family-friendly match, organised by Spalding’s Tonic Health, involved 25 players with promotional shirts featuring the Alzheimer’s Society Dementia Friends logo.

Tonic Health, based at Broadgate House in Westlode Street, is involved in the organisation and running of two dementia projects by Spalding Health and Wellbeing – Movement 4Memory and Craft 4Memory, which are run on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
These projects are funded through the Dementia Support Network, and are open to anyone, including carers and family.

For further details on the projects call 01775 725059 or visit www.shawcic.com
