Harriers on travels

There was no Snowden Field Parkrun in Crowland on Saturday due to a cycling event taking place.
It meant several members of Halmer Harriers travelled further afield for their weekly dose of 5K action.
At Ferry Meadows in Peterborough, Adam Caress finished 18th of 518 runners in a time of 19 minutes 32 seconds. Janet Strickland was 284th, in 29:23, just ahead of Deborah Preston, 293rd, 29:44.
Richard Williams was 16th of 164 finishers at the Boston Parkrun in 23:03, and Scott Burrell clocked 18:23 on his way to 19th of 688 at Burgess, in Camberwell, London.
Simon Eldridge was 41st in 26:48 at March and Debs Norman 47th of 107 at Wisbech in 31:02, with the travels of Jayne Pell and Kathryn Chapman taking in the Epworth Equestrian Parkrun on the South Yorkshire/North Lincolnshire border, where they were 206th and 237th respectively in 38:15 and 43:02.
