Halmer Harriers ace Andrea runs 8km event…while on holiday!

Two members of Spalding’s Halmer Harriers took on tough tests over the weekend.

Despite being on holiday, the dedicated Andrea Cooke opted to compete in the Blanes Night Race in Spain.

Cooke completed the hilly 8km course and finished in a very respectable time of 53.48mins.

Team-mate Teresa Walton was also in action at the Kimbolton half-marathon.

She managed to finish the course in a time of 2.06.53hrs.

• The Halmer Harriers are hosting this year’s West Pinchbeck 10k event.
