Grand gesture for Christmas lights

Holbeach Christmas Lights, which puts them up in the town, has been given £1,000 by Holbeach Community First.

It follows the group’s Masquerade Ball earlier this year which a spokesman said was ‘a huge success’.

A spokesman for Holbeach Community First, said: “Holbeach Christmas Lighting are a voluntary group that help make the town festive every year for everyone to enjoy and we a pleased to be able to support their work with the funds raised.

“Holbeach Community First have just completed their first year as a new group and and now planning our events for 2025.

“We are working on plans for some new events as well as the popular Motor mania which will be on Sunday July 6.
