Gosberton continue to ride high

Gosberton B are still at the top of the Spalding and District Billiards League following a 5-2 away win over Consti B.
Shane White (O50) and Des Forbes (R50) were the winners for Gosberton, with Jason Rose (R20) getting the better of Marcus Pell (O40) to get the points for Consti.
White knocked in breaks of 38, 32, 25 and 20 and Pell 20 for Gosberton, while Mick Johnson (O150) got breaks of 40, 31, 30 and 24 and Rose 21 for Consti.
Holbeach B hold on to second place after beating Pyramid B 5-2.
Chris Chamberlain (R50) and Neil Harvey (R50) got the wins for Holbeach, beating Maurice Phillipson (R70) and Darrell Read (R30) respectively, while Martin O’Connor (R40) got the frame for Pyramid beating Denis Hix (R70) 200-179.
In the other match on Monday night Holbeach A beat Donington 5-2, moving them up two places to third in the table. Donington remain in fourth place, despite the loss.
There were no matches for Consti A and Pyramid A.
