Golfers aim for an ace charity day

A fundraiser is holding his 15th charity golf day to raise money for St Barnabas Hospice.

Terry Grantham, 92, of Spalding, is organising the tournament at Gedney Hill Golf Club on Saturday, June 22 to support the charity where he volunteered for 15 years.
He usually raises around £2,000 and is hoping to hit a similar target this year.
The event is being supported by Barclays Bank and the company will double any amount raised up to a maximum of £1,500.
The cost of the event is £15 for members or £20 for non-members, and includes a bacon bap and a hot drink.
To book a spot contact Chrissy Ben on 07766 391877 or the golf club on 01406 331377.
