Royal Mail Cart maintained their unbeaten run in Division A of the Crowson Volkswagen Pinchbeck & District Winter League with a 5-4 victory over Consti Club B. Daz Gedney sealed the win in the final singles match, edging Adam Rawlinson 2-1.
Highlights included a 180 from Josh Ford and an 18-dart pairs leg by Ash Allen and Stu Page. Jason Vines stole the show with a 161 checkout for a 12-dart leg.
Lincoln Arms A moved into second place with a dominant 8-1 win over Lincoln Arms D. Dan Gent claimed the only point for the D side, defeating Paul Blow 2-0. Blow responded with a 180 and, alongside Jimmy Tenno, a 17-dart pairs leg. Eva Spinks also impressed with a 171.
Consti Club C kept their title hopes alive with a 6-3 win at Services Club B. After trailing 2-1 in the pairs, Consti took five of the six singles. Dave Norbury (Services) and Harry Faulkner (Consti) both hit 180s, while Jack Morton checked out on 102 and Jacob Herd recorded an 18-dart leg.
Black Bull also remain unbeaten after a tight 5-4 home win over Pinchbeck Football Club B. Wins from Sean Baxter, Rick Goodman and Mark Graham in the final three singles secured the result. Graham and PFC’s John Gilman both hit 180s.
Green Dragon A cruised to an 8-1 win at Drayman’s Arms. The hosts’ only success came in the opening pairs match, with Billy Elliot and Mark Harris defeating Sean Trafford and Andy Porter. Porter later hit a 103 checkout, and Trafford notched a 16-dart leg. Phil Newton added a 108 finish for Drayman’s.
Kirton Leisure stayed unbeaten at the top of Division B with a 5-4 win at Pinchbeck Football Club C. Mark Sellars, Finn Andrew and Ashley Brown won the final three singles to clinch the match. Sellars also hit a 180 and a 130 checkout, while Adam Rolfe responded with a 107 finish for the hosts.
In the Green Dragon derby, the Z side defeated the C team 7-2, with Callum Day starring thanks to a 15-dart leg in his 2-0 win over Harry Lynch. In the battle of the siblings Tom Overton, of the Z team, beat his sister Athena 2-0.
Consti Club D secured a 6-3 home win over Services Club A, with Jonny Robinson and Dean Drage sealing the result in the final singles.
Consti Club A edged out Pied Calf 5-4, though the visitors fought back with wins from James Racey, Mark Foster, and Mark Bright in the final three singles.
