Those of all ages saddled up for a new Bike Jam event at Spalding Skate Park on Tuesday (August 20).

The event, run by South Holland District Council’s Communities Team, included specialist bike tracks and professionals on-hand to teach skills.
There was also information on how to maintain your bike courtesy of Tonic Health, along with members of the police and ambulance in attendance.
Coun Gary Taylor, South Holland District Council’s portfolio holder for communities, said: “It’s gone very well and it was great to see many young people taking part.
“It’s great to have the police and ambulance alongside a host of community groups in an area of Spalding that’s being used to a positive effect.
“It’s good to see so many outdoors.
“It’s the end of a fantastic summer that’s included Give it a Go and the Love Your Parks events which have been a success.”
