The curtain came down on another Spalding and District Snooker and Billiards League season with the annual trophy presentation evening.
All of the 2025/26 season’s trophy winners got their hands on silverware at the Spalding Services Club bash – which included snooker Division One winners Pyramid F and billiards champions Donington B.
The traditional dinner and dance also saw the coveted Highest Achievement Award presented to Stuart Atkin, who walked away with a host of trophies including highest overall league break (81), highest break by a senior player, highest break in Division Two, the mixed pairs title with Susan Lefley and he was captain of the winning Norey Cup team.
Prizes were presented by Michella George, whose dad John played in the league for many years before passing away earlier this year.
Jason Green walked away with the Snooker Scratch trophy, while a 112 gave billiards scratch champion Gary Norman the highest overall billiards break.
