Tydd St Giles Golf Club ladies secured their place in the next round of the Taskers Trophy competition with a 6-1 victory over Kibworth GC.
Led by Maria Taylor-Vassall, the team produced an excellent performance.
Maria Taylor-Vassall and Petra Meir put on a impressive showing to win the Ping Four Ball better ball competition. Runners up were Tania Thompson-Cole and Nicola Stead.
The Beryl Clay Winners Game once again produced some strong results with Meir (pictured) winning overall.
Tydd men’s seniors’ made a successful start defending the annual Norman Davis Niblick Trophy with a hard fought away 3-3 draw against Sutton Bridge GC.
However Tydd St Giles take a three-point lead into their return draw in August.
