Full house for Gosberton

Spalding and District Billiards League leaders Gosberton B were in imperious form on Monday night as they moved six points clear at the summit.
The table-toppers made it six wins from seven as they whitewashed Consti A 7-0 on home baize.
Des Forbes (R60), Marcus Pell (O30) and Shane White (O50) were all on winning form, with White pocketing a 37 break and Pell sinking a cool 30.
Second-placed Holbeach B also boast six wins so far, but lost a little ground on Gosberton B despite beating basement side Pyramid A 5-2.
Denis Hix (R70) and Chris Chamberlain (R60) got their wins, while Neil Harvey (R60) managed a 24 break in defeat against Lester Gaunt (scr) – who top scored himself with a 37 break.
Elsewhere, Mick Cooper (O190) starred with breaks of 52, 42, 38 and 35 as Holbeach A won 5-2 at Pyramid B.
Cooper’s heroics came in a win over Martin O’Connor (R40), while Phil Coaten (R70) and Darrel Read (R40) were the other winners on the night.
