Frost enjoys hot start as Tigers manager

New Holbeach United manager Gary Frost enjoyed a great start to his tenure as the Tigers hit five against Blackstones to progress in the Lincolnshire Senior Cup.

Holbeach, who hadn’t scored a goal since a 2-1 home defeat at fellow strugglers Quorn on August 28, thrashed the fellow United Counties League Premier Division North side 5-0.

Aaron Eyett netted twice for the Tigers to the end the six game drought.

Strikes from Andre Williams and Keiran Rose as well an own goal helped the visitors sail into the next round of the competition.

Holbeach welcome Gresley Rovers to Carter’s Park on Saturday as they look to get their first league win of the season.
