Free food safety training course by Lincolnshire Community and Voluntary Services

Charitable and not-for-profit organisations in South Holland are being offered free food safety training.

Lincolnshire Community and Voluntary Services is offering the Level 2 Food Safety and Catering course, which is ideal for any organisation that wants to cook and prepare food as part of its activities. The course would usually cost around £40 per participant.

It covers areas such as risks of food poisoning, personal hygiene and includes a formal examination to gain an industry-recognised qualification.

Bakkavor, Spalding, has supplied the venue for the training.
The course will be held in West Marsh Road, Spalding, on Thursday, February 26 (9am to 5pm).

This course will be delivered by and in association with Soteria Solutions, of Sutterton.
Booking at www.eventbrite.co.uk is essential.
