Four more shops face closure orders

Four more shops on a Spalding street are in court facing closure orders today (Monday, June 3).

Babany, Global Foods, NIDA and Stop and Shop all on Winsover Road are the subject of applications for closure orders over ‘nuisance and disorder’ at Lincoln Magistrates Court.

If agreed by the judge, the four premises will be subject to three month temporary closure orders.

A host of stores have been hit with the orders due to the sale of illegal vapes and cigarettes including European Food Store, Warsaw and Baltic, all of which are on Winsover Road.

Also at Boston Magistrates Court, Himn Farag Sharif of Gravel Close in Spalding is due on a host of charges relating to selling illegal tobacco and selling good with fake trademarks.

The charges relate to the Baltic stall on Winsover Road.
