Former Spalding Grammar School teacher dies after A52 crash

A 40-year-old Spalding woman has died following a crash in Leverton on Monday.

Former Spalding Grammar School teacher Gemma Ashling, who was teaching at Boston High School, was driving a silver Hyundai i10 car that was involved in a collision with a double decker bus and a silver VW Transporter van.

The collision occured at 3.50pm on the A52 Main Road at Leverton, near Boston on Monday, November 26.

Police have asked anyone with any information to call 101, quoting incident number 265 of 27/11/18.

A letter sent to parents and carers at Boston High School by head teacher Andrew Fulbrook said: “Ms Ashling was both a professional colleague and friend to us and, of course, to so many students.”
