Firm’s light relief for charity

A firm has shed light on a Spalding charity.

The Meadows Day Centre off Park Road has had an upgrade to its lights thanks to the Myton Food Group, the Morrison’s company that owns Woodhead Brothers in Pinchbeck.

The decision to replace the emergency lighting at the centre which provides care for those who might otherwise be on their own was a proactive measure aimed at modernising the facility and improving overall safety standards.

“This investment will not only provide peace of mind to the staff and visitors but also ensure the continuity of the centre’s important work, regardless of any potential power outages,” a spokesman for the Myton Food Group said.

Its general manager Archie Gardiner, said: “At Myton Food Group Spalding, we believe in the importance of being an active and responsible member of our community.

“Supporting The Meadows Day Centre is not just about a single project; it’s about recognizing the crucial role they play and ensuring they have the necessary infrastructure to continue their outstanding work safely.

“We are delighted to have completed this upgrade and to offer our continued support to such an amazing facility.”
