Firefighters lead horse from water

Three fire crews have rescued a horse out from out of Blue Gowt Lane.

Firefighters from Spalding, Donington and Boston were called to Clay Drove at 1.15pm on Sunday, February 12 after the horse was spotted in water.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue said: “The crews used animal rescue equipment and a farmer’s manitou to release the horse into safety.”
