Fine fourth place the highlight of Pulling’s Oulton outing

A fourth place in the second of three F4 British Championship races at Oulton Park was the highlight of Abbi Pulling’s latest racing weekend.

It was the Gosberton ace’s only point-scoring effort of the weekend, but she is seventh in the racer standings just 18 points off fourth place.

Pulling qualified 14th for JHR Developments and made a charging start to race one, only for damage to the front wing to force her to retire.

Race two went much better and, after finishing fifth on the track, she was promoted to fourth after Joel Granfors was penalised for initiating a collision with her.

The final race saw Pulling at the other end of the grid and, at the end, she was back in 16th place.

p Johnathan Hoggard was back in FIA Formula 3 action in Hungary last weekend.

The Jenzer Motorsport racer from Weston Hills qualified 23rd at the Hungaroring, then placed 22nd in the first of three races.

Race two yielded the same result, with the South Holland speedster again 22nd.

His best outing came in the finale, with Hoggard managing 18th position.
