Lily Hooker helped herself to five goals as Spalding ladies’ 2nd romped to a 10-0 win over Cambridge South 4th on Saturday.
Hooker got the team off to the perfect start, scoring twice in the opening 15 minutes, before Kate Amess added a third shortly before half time to give the ladies a strong lead going into the break.
The second half saw an incredible seven more goals added to the scoresheet.
Hooker continued her outstanding form, finishing the game with an impressive five goals in total. Chloe P also had a superb game, claiming a well-earned hat-trick, while Amy Naylor got her name on the scoresheet to conclude a 10-0 win to Spalding.
Cambridge persisted to the final whistle and gave Spalding an excellent game.
Spalding 2nd finish their season at home to St Ives on Saturday.

Despite being 2-0 down to their visitors at half-time, Spalding continued to push with player-of-the-match Jess Ball delivering an outstanding performance, working tirelessly to link play and drive the team forward.
The away side added a third goal to round off the win, but Spalding still enjoyed a positive end to the season for Spalding.
Indeed, securing their place in Division One for the first time in the club’s history is a significant achievement and a testament to the team’s progress and resilience throughout.
l Spalding ladies’ 3rd rounded off a great season by defeating hosts Wisbech 5th 7-0.
Goals from Lucy McClements (3), player-of-the-match Jessica Pilgrim and Sam Foston (2) capped off a great season for the team, who move into Division 4NW next year.
