A family welding business are counting the cost after thieves stole thousands of pounds of tools.
Tambrath Welding of Gosberton has been run by the Taylor family of Andy and Fee as well as daughter Steph for the last four years and they were already counting the cost of having to close due to the coronavirus pandemic.
But sometime overnight on Saturday targeted the business off Wargate Way stealing what the family believes to be thousands of pounds worth of equipment.
The family say a host of tools were taken in the raid as well as the firm’s van, though they were delighted to learn on Monday that had been found near Glen Avenue in Pinchbeck.
That’s after Steph posted an appeal for information on Facebook.
“My dad went up to the yard around 8am on Sunday and couldn’t see the van, which can usually be seen from a mile off,” she said. “Then he saw that all the locks were cut.
“We’re just all devastated by this. It makes us feel scared, but there is a tiny speck of hope now the van has been found and it seems to be in good condition.
“I’ve been awake most the night sharing the post to try and get people’s attention and thankfully that’s helped get the van back, which we’re so happy about.”
The family say the missing tools are:
– SDS Bosch large floor drill – in a grey and yellow box.
– Bosch nut runner and portable grinder in box
-110 big Bosch grinder
-Robi drill with all bits in box
-Black small floor drill in box
