A large crowd saw East Pinchbeck Primary School pupils sing carols last week.
A planned ‘Carols Around the Christmas Tree’ turned into an event in the car park due to the water-logged field.
But the event still proved to be a huge hit.
Head of school Teeny Vayro said: “We decided to have an open-air whole school Christmas activity to ensure maximum safety.
“The event was part of a busy Christmas week, where the children have taken part in many activities, including baking, card and calendar making, a virtual pantomime and even an unexpected visitor in a red suit, knocking on the fire door to wish them a Merry Christmas, leaving them a sack of treats!
“The children have all been given a small real Christmas tree, kindly donated by Greeen+ company, as a keepsake of a fabulous week.”
