Burger King and Starbucks to be served up

Plans for two new drive-thrus for Burger King and Starbucks in Spalding have been passed.

They’re set to be built just off the A16 junction with the A151 with an entrance off Fulney Lane North.

It will also have 51 parking spaces, including eight for electric vehicles, and places for 14 bikes.

Documents submitted with the application state: “The design has been developed in close collaboration with the
intended operators to ensure the most efficient use of the site.

“This application is an improvement to those previously approved, due to the design being treated as a whole and thereby allowing a cohesive layout and unified layout to be put forward.

“The site is easily accessible to all modes of transport and provides easy access within the site curtilage.

“The new proposals will attract further job opportunities and contribute further facilities for the local area.”
