Donington-based John set for bare knuckle boxing return at Ragemania event

A Donington bare knuckle boxer is to return to the ring at the age of 46.

John Stephenson is due to fight in the heavyweight division at the Ragemania event in Atherstone, Warwickshire on Saturday May 7.

He’s still waiting to hear who he will fight on the bill but he has fought two previous bare knuckle fights and won them both.

And four years after the last victory, he wants to get back in the ring one more time.

“I think this might be my last fight, but I just wanted to do it one last time,” he said. “I’m starting my training soon and I’m really looking forward to it.”
