Dig in and help town’s hospital

Holbeach Hospital is looking for green-fingered volunteers to help maintain our gardens, especially over the summer period.
The community-run institution’s gardens face the Ann Waltham Unit where end of life care is provided.
It is looking for someone to help keep the gardens in top condition, particularly for the residents who view the gardens in the final days.
Duties would include general weeding and planting, as well as helping the residents with their gardening club.
Style Roses has also donated some plants, but the hospital needs help in planting them.
Business support manager Rebecca Atkinson, said: “We already have a fantastic team of volunteers who help with activities, but we would love to find some volunteers to help keep our gardens in tip top condition.
“Are you passionate about nature, gardening, and making a positive impact in your community? We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as volunteer gardeners.
“If you’re ready to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty for a great cause, we want to hear from you.”
To apply, email [email protected] or pick up an application from reception.
