Detectives investigating South Holland shop robbery

Police are investigating a robbery at a South Holland newsagent’s store.

The incident happened at McColl’s in Hillgate, Gedney Hill between 5am and 5.30am on Monday (January 9).

A police spokesman said: “Offenders used force to enter the shop and steal money and goods.”

Further details have not been released at this stage.

Police are appealing for witnesses who saw anything suspicious in the area, especially anyone running from the scene.
