A former South Holland landmark hotel is going to auction with a guide price of £80,000-£100,000.
The 21-bedroom Bridge Hotel is derelict and there are no internal pictures because it’s too dangerous to enter.
It will feature in a livestream auction on Wednesday, October 26 at 11am.
Auction House East Anglia has listed the building which has long been an eyesore in Sutton Bridge.
“The property has many possibilities including a development site, and stands with views of the famous bridge,” says the advertisement.
Fire crews have warned recently that the building (pictured) could be totally lost following a spate of arson attacks.
A major blaze in August 2016 caused significant damage to the building, with up to 70 per cent of it lost as a result.
It has been a blot on the landscape for many years and has been at the centre of anti-social behaviour.
In its heyday when the railway still served the village, The Bridge, with its dancefloor, was a big destination for visitors. The trains stopped in 1959.
