Lincoln Arms caused an upset in Division One of the Spalding and District Darts League on Monday night with a 4-3 win over Tigers A.
Dean Murray sealed the success with a 3-1 win over Casey Hill with a top showing that saw him throw 11 scores of 100 or more.
On the night there were also 180s for Lincoln Arms’ Luke Rhodes and Steve Stanger.
In a more one-sided game Tigers C won 7-0 against Rose and Crown.
Player of the night –and rolling back the years – was Mark Horspool, who had a 180, a 140 checkout and a 17 and 15-dart leg.
There was also a 180 for Tigers’ Simon Hill and a maximum for Rose and Crown’s Adam Brand.
In Division Two, Tigers B stretched their lead at the top of the league with a 5-2 win over Oscars Bar. Singles wins came from Nick, Mick and Phil Horspool and Ben Carr.
Elsewhere, Consti D kept up their good run of form with a 5-2 win over Abbey Hotel. Winning both the pairs and triples, there was also singles wins for Geoff Herd, Nick Collins and Ady Smith.
Meanwhile, Royal Mail Cart won a close game against Drayman’s Arms 4-3 with K Wells going on last to beat Ian Tilley and seal the win.
