Dancing queens and kings

Spalding’s over 55s dusted off their dancing shoes for a fun, free evening of dance at Diamondz School of Dance Studio.
The evening was part of First Time for Everything, a programme designed by the Royal Voluntary Service to support physical and mental health and wellbeing and funded by the People’s Postcode Lottery.
Local dance teacher, Bekki Loveridge from Adults Move Lincolnshire, led the Dance Around the World evening, with participants learning steps to some well-known dances from around the world.
Andrea Briggs, Royal Voluntary Service activity co-ordinator for Lincolnshire, said: “It was great to see people enjoying themselves being active and having fun.
“We have lots more sessions planned this year for local people to enjoy, and are extremely grateful to players of People’s Postcode Lottery for their support.”
