Council leader’s claim on FEZ

The leader of Lincolnshire County Council says that 12 plots have already been allocated to businesses looking to set up at The South Lincolnshire Food Enterprize Zone in Holbeach.
Coun Martin Hill told the a meeting of the authority’s full council last week that it was an example of the investment it was placing in the whole of the county as it’s budget for the next financial year was voted through.
He told fellow councillors: “At the Food Enterprize Zone near Holbeach we’ve already has a dozen plots allocated to businesses and later this year our hub building will be on site and will be open.
“This will offer purpose-built offices and facilities for smaller businesses that will be able to benefit from the expertise and research of larger locations and the University of Lincoln campus associated there.
“This shows the investment we put is across the whole county.
“Some places think they’re left behind. We do make sure the whole of our county needs investment.”
