Cue ace Gray lights up league with 102

Bourne snooker ace Mark Gray (O105) lit up the Spalding and District Snooker League in the final week of the season with an incredible 102 break.

Gray, playing for Bourne SC B in Division One, got the break in his victory over Services A’s Vince Fitter (O35).
His team went on to lose 5-1 though, with wins for Jake Haslam (O7), Chris Dunmore (O35), Phil Spencer (O7) and Courtney Boulding (R14) for Services, who finished the season in fourth place.
Division One champions are Boundary A, who beat fifth-placed Donington C 4-2.
They took the title by just one point, from Bourne SC A, who didn’t have a match this week.
Third place went to Pyramid C, who beat Services C 5-1.
Nigel Cherry (O7) got Services off to a good start with a win over Spencer Dawkins (O56) but that was to be their only point of the match.
Winners for Pyramid were Richard Skellett (O14) twice, Dave Pearson (O7) and Jason Green (O56).
Down at the bottom of the table it looks like Pyramid A and Pyramid D will be playing in Division Two next season after finishing in the bottom two places.
They played each other on Thursday night, with the D team coming out 5-1 winners.
There were some big wins in the final week for Division Two teams, with Consti G sealing first place with a 6-0 victory over Holbeach F.
They have taken the title from second-placed Holbeach E, who won 4-2 at Gosberton A by four points.
Winners for Holbeach were Stuart Sullivan (O35), Ben Harding (O28) and Pete Ransome (O28).
Consti H beat Donington A 5-1 to hold on to third place.
Donington started well, thanks to Nigel Brasier (O21), but it went downhill for them with Jon Houldershaw (R7), Mark German (O28), Adam Mayman (O14) and Olly Turner (014) winning the next four frames.
Services E finished fourth after a 6-0 whitewash over Holbeach B.
Joel Shears (R7), Paul Spicer (O7), Alan Day (R7), Ian Smith (scr) and Russ Morse (R7) made it a clean sweep for Services.
Consti F made a late surge up the table, thanks to a 6-0 win over clubmates Consti B.
They jumped from 12th to ninth to avoid possible relegation.
Division Three champions Gosberton D finished the season on a high with a 4-2 win over Whittlesey B.
They lost only two matches all season to finish seven points ahead of second-placed Whittlesey C.
Daniel Hanger (R7), Brad Brinkman (O21) and Deac Hempsall (R7) got the wins to complete a great season for the team.
Whittlesey C, who lost only three matches all season, beat Consti J 4-2.
Third place went to Donington B, who beat Consti C 6-0 to finish their season nicely.
Whittlesey A beat Consti D 5-1 to end up in fifth place in the table.
