Crowland win derby

Crowland Town won the Peterborough and District League Premier Division South Holland derby against Moulton Harrox on Saturday.

Town went third in the league after Juliano Rest and Harry Tidswell struck in the first half for the visitors, cancelling out Declan Earth’s strike for the home side.
Goals from subs Jordan Kirchin and Adam Blackbird sealed the win for Town despite Ashley Coddington netting for Harrox who had Marcus Cundy sent off. Ethan Allen receiving his marching orders for Crowland.
Elsewhere in the division, bottom of the table Holbeach United Reserves were beaten 7-2 at Ramsey Town.
Whaplode Drove Rovers were on the wrong end of a nine-goal thriller at Wittering Premiair Reserves. Doubles from Danny Firth and Avelino Vieira couldn’t stop them falling to a 5-4 defeat.
Long Sutton Athletic lost 13-1 to Netherton United, Harry Munson with the home side’s consolation.
In Division Two, third bottom Tydd Reserves beat third top Sutton Bridge United 4-1 with goals from Marley Hamilton, Jordi Henson, Brandon Harker and Kai Scott-Henson. Alex Clements-Limb scored for Sutton.
