Marc Jones has been re-elected to the role of Lincolnshire Police and Crime Commisioner.
The full results for the whole of the county were Peter Escreet (Reform Party) 6101, Marc Jones (Conservative) 102,813, Rosie Kirk (Labour) 34,320, Ross Pepper (Liberal Democrat) 10,172, David Williams (Lincolnshire Independents) 18,375.
The vote in South Holland was: Peter Escreet 342, Marc Jones 12,158, Rosie Kirk 2,579, Ross Pepper 963, David Williams 2841.
Mr Jones said: “A huge thank you to those who voted for me. I will work tirelessly to make our communities feel and be safer.”
Rosie Kirk, who was in second, tweeted: “I am absolutely thrilled with the result for @UKLabour and @CoopParty in Conservative Lincolnshire. I broke down some of the blue wall and that’s because I have always stood for fairness and justice. I want to thank everyone who voted in this election and who voted for change.”
Ross Pepper, said: “Many thanks to all those who voted for me at this election, but unfortunately it was not meant to be.
“I will still continue to work with colleagues, including our newly elected councillors for community policing and a strategy of crime prevention in our county.”
