Cole (7) cycling 17 miles to raise cash for his primary school

A seven-year-old is to take on a 17-mile cycle ride to raise money.

Cole Murdoch told his mum Kerrie he wanted to cycle round Rutland Water and when she suggested he asked for sponsorship for his efforts he decided he wanted the money to go to Gosberton Clough and Risegate Primary School, which he attends.

Kerrie said: “The school has been very supportive, even providing a sponsorship form for him, so we hope to be able to raise a bit of money when we do the ride on Sunday, July 5.”
