Cole Lodge’s a victory

Tydd St Giles Golf Club’s lodge owners charity competition attracted a field of 46 players.
They played an individual stableford competition in aid of their charity, the Holbeach Hospital, with Mark Cole’s 44 points earning him first place.
Organiser Malcolm Miller was pleased to announce that £2,100 was raised and thanked all for taking part, as well as the bar staff and the golf club for their help in putting on a successful day’s golf.
Gratitude was also expressed to those who supplied raffle prizes for the competition.
Mike Read finished in second place after countback with 37 points, ahead of Hank Pooley.
The ladies’ prize went to Petra Meir, with 37, with Tania Thompson-Cole second, 36, and Liz Miller third, 34.

Division Two: 1 Wayne Davies 39pts, 2 Kevin Johnson 38, 3 Ken Doughty 37.
