Lincoln and Mail Cart impress on travels

After the previous week’s tight contests in Division A of the Dewhursts Trophies Pinchbeck & District Summer Darts League, the latest round produced a trio of emphatic victories.

Royal Mail Cart and Lincoln Arms A sit level at the top of the table on 72 points.
Lincoln Arms A delivered a dominant 21-6 win at Services Club B. Standout moments included 180s from Steve Gaughan and John Charlton, a 110 checkout from Steve Stancer and an 18-dart leg from Paul Blow. Ady Smith claimed Services’ only success, beating Charlton 2-1 in the final singles.
Mail Cart were also strong on their travels, winning 19-8 at Pinchbeck FC B. Mark Dixon produced a superb 160 checkout for Pinchbeck in their only win, defeating Jack Chilvers 3-0. Harvey Elderkin hit a 180 in his pairs game for the football club, while Ben Connell fired in a 16-dart leg during his 3-0 singles win for Mail Cart.
Consti Club C enjoyed a 20-7 home victory over Green Dragon A. Paul Faulkner hit a 120 checkout in his pairs match with Jack Morton, but they were edged out 2-1 by Sean Trafford and Simon Horton – Green Dragon’s only win of the night.
In Division B, Green Dragon Z moved top with a commanding 22-5 home win over Drayman’s Arms Q. Callum Day impressed with a 180 and an 18-dart leg in his 2-1 win over Jason Chilvers. Toby Lyons also hit a 180, but lost 3-0 to Leon Carter – Drayman’s only success.
Drayman’s Arms B recorded a 16-11 home win against Pinchbeck FC A. The highlight for the football club was Josh Burton’s final singles win, beating Sofia Newton 3-0.
The Consti Club derby saw the B team defeat the Z team 17-10. Mick Atkin was the only singles winner for the Z side, beating Stu Ewins 2-1.
Lincoln Arms D edged out Consti Club D 15-12. Riley Collins hit a 180 in his 3-0 win over Stacey Banister, while Jake Merrill fired a 180 for the Lincoln in his 3-0 victory over Nick Collins.
In Division C, Consti Club A won 17-10 at Lincoln Arms C. Jamie Mumby produced a 116 checkout and an 18-dart leg for the visitors.
Services Club A also claimed a 17-10 win at Green Dragon C. Wins for Lindsay Kelk, Acker Kelk and Sarah O’Driscoll in the final three singles secured the result.
