Club’s charter dinner

The Rotary Club of Spalding and Welland Charter dinner took place at Woodlands Hotel in Spalding last month, with the local branch welcoming members from other groups nationally.

Pictured above is Past District Governor Chris Chew, Club Secretary Ian Smee, Past President David Spenceley (both of whom have been presented with Paul Harris Fellowship Awards), President Elect Richard Baker, President Elect Sue Wray and President Jon Martin.

The club also enjoyed its annual young chef competition.

The competition took place at Spalding Academy and a Rotary spokesman said: “We were astounded at the level of talent shown by these incredible talented youngsters.

“Well done to everyone who took part.”
