Claim on National Lottery winning ticket worth £10,000 a month for 30-years

A claim has been made on a winning National Lottery ticket worth £10,000 a month for the next 30-years which was bought in a South Holland shop.

As previously reported, a ticket bought in the district had won the top prize in the Set For Life draw on June 5.

Operators Camelot had to appeal for the ticket holder to come forward.

But today (Tuesday July 25) they confirmed someone had claimed the prize for matching the five main numbers and the Life Ball.

The claim will now go through the process of validation.

Camelot’s Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at The National Lottery, said, “What amazing news for this lucky ticket-holder who has claimed their prize. Every single month for the next 30 years – that’s an incredible 360 months – will see the lucky winner banking £10,000. Imagine the possibilities.

“We will now focus on supporting the lucky ticket-holder through the process.”
