Choir looking for new voices to swell its ranks

A young people’s choir is looking for new members.

Choir Vibe, which is open to young people aged eight to 18, is an open access group, with no audition necessary to earn a place among its ranks.

Although the group retains a keen core of enthusiastic singers, it has recently lost some of its members who have gone off to university and is now hoping to boost its numbers.

Vibe has performed at many events and venues, including the South Holland Centre, Christmas lights switch on and Pumpkin Parade.

It has also performed with the London Mozart Players at the International Food Festival and has sung in seven languages and from genres including jazz, pop, musicals and classical.

The choir meets every Thursday in term time at the South Holland Centre, Spalding, from 5.30pm to 7pm and fees are £3 a week.
