The date of a clothes swap event in Spalding to support Ella’s Project has been changed.
People attending the fundraiser at Act II’s premises on Wednesday, February 23 (10am-1pm) have the choice of swapping children’s clothes (0-5 years) with other visitors or selling items they bring.
Entry is via voluntary donation.
Ella’s Project was founded by Spalding parents Mark and Sarah Le Sage and named after their daughter. Its aim is to promote reuse of clean and good condition young children’s clothing.
Mark said: “It’s an opportunity for people to come and share their clothes.
“Anything left over at the end will be used by the project, so people can be assured that nothing will go to waste.”
The address of the event is Unit 1, Welland Business Park, Clay Lake, Spalding PE12 6BL.
Clothes donations for the project can be dropped off at several collection points through South Holland, including Tulip Radio, The Ivy Wall, and Spalding Travel (all Spalding town centre), Baytree Nurseries Garden Centre in Weston and Silverwood Nursery in Long Sutton.
Mark thanks Steve Rogers for allowing Ella’s Project to use some of his premises for storage over the winter.
